Once again, Jack is pleading with her to fight it, but nothing seems to be working. The Aku-form Ashi consumes Jack and now, he encounters her inside her dark self. As this battle between the army of different beings an Aku rages on, Ashi is still trying to kill Jack. Everything they throw at him only makes him angrier, and eventually, he unleashes a deadly attack that kills many of them. The only thing that could stop him, however, is Jack’s sword. We see the Scotsman and his daughters, a variety of Spartan-like soldiers,and others rallying to try and stop Aku. Once she’s about to kill Jack, a bunch of allies and different beings come to his rescue. Jack is consistently pleading with her to fight the evil feeling, but it’s out of her control. As the 10th episode begins, we see Aku broadcast to the entire world that he’s about to kill Jack once and for all.Īs he’s trying to figure out how he wants to kill Jack, he commands Ashi to do it instead. It also shows that Aku now has possession of his sword, which is the only weapon that could stop him. In “C,” we saw that Jack was rendered hopeless after not being able to finish off the Aku-form of Ashi and Aku himself.
The final episode, “CI,” is extremely bittersweet, and in some ways, it didn’t end the way we wanted it too. It was still a great episode and it gives the series the closure. We’ve been waiting so long for this fifth season and it delivered in every way possible. Sadly, Samurai Jack has officially come to an end with “CI.” Although it was bittersweet, it was a satisfying and epic conclusion to a fantastic series.Īfter so many years, we finally got a proper ending to Samurai Jack.
